First bank is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of HR business Partner in technology and Head, Business Application, User Experience and DevOps at Lagos.
Job Title I: HR Business Partner – Technology at First Bank
Job Summary
Serve as the primary interface between HCMD and the Technology business unit
Provide effective support in identifying recruitment needs, strategic competences to forecast the critical skills requirement
Assist in the on-boarding and confirmation process of new hires
Identify training needs using combination of indicators to enable Learning & Development plan and organize for such trainings
Review training plan/curriculum with user department
Monitor the grievance/disciplinary issues/process within area of coverage and provide necessary support
Liaise with Talent Management to monitor staff exit process within area of coverage
Embark on periodic visits to business development offices/branches for on-the-spot assessment of business situations and HR issues
Ensure new hires meet specific documentation requirements and target performance level prior to confirmation
Generate weekly/monthly activity reports
Attending the Directorate’s quarterly QPR and periodic attendance of BDO’s monthly MPR
Coordinate staff exit process in area of coverage
Ensure proper documentation of staff information
Basic Requirements
HRBP experience with Engineering, Information & Communications Technology, etc.background.

Job Description
Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising all activities related to the design, development and implementation of the systems and software applications
Assist development lead in all activities with respect to application development & management operations and support
Contribute to planning the introduction of new application systems
Develop prototypes (to improve envisioning and communication) and proof-of-concept systems (to test technology) to validate potential solutions
Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented
Assist in maintaining, supporting and upgrading existing IT systems and applications
Participate in the customisation of application packages
Design technical solution including high level (entity – relationship, data flow) to low level (field structures, database schemas) design
Develop technical design that will support the development, execution and operations of the service.
Assist in developing service acceptance criteria. Propose performance levels for new service. Review and verify service requirements with users. Agree and document service acceptance criteria
Create the service development plan. Review and agree with users
Build, configure or customize the technical solution (technical code components and services)
Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation
Review technical constraints and performance issues of business intelligence and integration solutions
Provide leadership role across all Agile Squads in conjunction with other senior stakeholders by helping removing impediments to sprint execution
Ensure Availability and optimal performance and costing of the Azure DevOps platform
Implement and enforce a controlled process that ensure total Source Code Maintenance and adequate versioning of code, artifact, appservices and containerized applications
Implement, enforce and provide support on the adoption of Continuous Integration, Continuous Security and Continuous Deployment in line with Agile-DevOps practices for all Bespoke solutions
Drive adoption and maturity of the Agile-DevOps practices across Project Management, Application security, Development, Testing & UAT and Solution Delivery
Keeping abreast and driving adoption of new trends in agile solution delivery processes and practices.
Oversee the development of dashboard that communicate the team’s performance in line with the agreed Agile-DevOps KPIs
Actively participate in unit testing / quality reviews through the build phase to ensure that the solution meets the agreed functional specifications
Educational Qualifications
Minimum of a First Degree or its equivalent in a business /IT related discipline
Masters, MBA or a recognized professional certification will be an added advantage
Job Experience
10+ years of experience in designing, developing and delivering solutions
5+ years in managerial position.
3+ years leading an Agile-DevOps solution delivery team
