The University of Portharcourt announces Resumption Date for 2022 session

All students of the University of Portharcourt, UNIPORT, are to resume for the continuation of the academic session on 4th January, 2022. 

The school management notification reads: 

This is to inform all students of the University of Portharcourt (UNIPORT) that the management has announced Tuesday 4th January 2022 as the new resumption date for the continuation of academic activities.

All year one student sent home for the past 6 months would still resume on the 13th of February 2022…

All returning students are to resume back on the campus on the 13th of February 2022…

Wishing all unique students a lovely Xmas and a prosperous new year ahead.

For the returning students, the holiday is actually a very short one but it’s better to end the session at once so that students could be promoted to the next level.

The University of Portharcourt was established in 1975. It is located in Choba, Portharcourt, Rivers State Nigeria. 

As a matter of fact UNIPORT is affiliated with the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of African Universities (AAU) and the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital. 

This institution has quite a number of prominent alumni. Theses include; Former President of Nigeria GCFR, Goodluck Jonathan; Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi and numerous Nigerian Senators both former and incumbent.
